The XVIVE U5T Camera-Mounted Wireless Audio for Video System Transmitter is an audio solution component for the U5 video production system.

U5T Transmitter

The transmitter’s role in the XVIVE U5 system is to send audio from a connected microphone and send the audio signal to the U5R Receiver. The U5R Receiver then sends the signal directly into the DSLR/video camera or audio device. Microphones such as a lavalier and audio devices connect to the Transmitter via a 3.5mm mono connection. In order to send a microphone signal to a U5R Receiver; all you have to do is connect a lapel microphone into the U5T Transmitter using the 3.5mm mono cable.

Each unique microphone source will require a Transmitter and a dedicated Receiver combination. You can however send a single audio source to two cameras. For this example, if you own an additional U5R Receiver mounted to a secondary camera/device; you can send 1x audio into two cameras using a single U5T Transmitter.

Replaceable battery

The U5 wireless system utilizes replaceable lithium batteries. As a result, you can recharge your additional batteries using the XVIVE U5C Battery Charging Case. If you would like to extend your video shoot then having additional batteries will facilitate longer video productions.

The U5 System provides you with professional, high-resolution 24-bit / 48 kHz digital wireless audio. The system also reliably transmits high-resolution audio on the 2.4 GHz wireless band, and can be used for video shoots, live streams, interviews, webinars, weddings and more!
