PWM Malevolent Semi-Modular Analog Synthesizer
PWM Malevolent is everything you want from a true analogue design yet still sits happily in your studio. In fact, it comes with USB-C, MIDI and Clock I/O, and easy interfacing between digital and analogue worlds.
Malevolent – It Lives and Breathes
Malevolent is without compromise on the analogue side as it has two proper VCOs derived from a 4046-based core that will sing and snarl in equal measure! The opto-FET controlled 2-pole Sallen-Key filter will whistle and burble unlike anything you can get out of a digital model. Indeed this is the whole point to Malevolent.
Arpeggiator
Malevolent has a fully featured arpeggiator with independent control and signal capabilities allowing arp midi control alongside patchable signal manipulation.
Second-To-None USB Midi Control
Malevlents’s Midi signal is completely separate from the analogue signal path. It works as a totally independent USB to 1 volt per octave USB midi interface.
Expert Analogue Creation
Malevolent’s analogue design is courtesy of Bristol-based Future Sound Systems with Exhaustive control development by EX Roli / Focusrite Genius Ben Supper [Supperware]. Also, its producer Paul Whittington has a healthy knowledge of the music manufacturing process. With past lives in Evolution Electronics, M-Audio, Avid, Focusrite and Novation, Paul has been directly involved in countless products that have famously been featured in the studio and live industries.
