The Behringer System 55 962 Sequential Switch gives you an analog CV multiplexer module for Eurorack. What’s more, the 962 sports an authentic reproduction of the discrete circuitry seen in the classic Moog Modular 55 series. Allowing you to mix and match and build your very own unique modular synthesizer, at an extremely affordable price.
How it Works
So how does it work? The 962 Sequential Switch can be used as either a latch, shifter, or signal selector. Depending on the number of input jacks you have plugged into the module, you can alternate between two or three signals with the 962. While you can even use it to expand the 960 Sequential Controller from an 8-step sequencer up to a 24-step sequencer.
Trigger Inputs and Outputs
What’s more, the 962 Sequential Switch features 3-channel V-Trig inputs so you can select CV input channels and separate V-Trig outputs per channel. You can also connect triggers from other modules via 3.5mm cables, then manually select them with the Trigger buttons.
Shifting Signals
You can also connect triggers in the Shift jack to activate the next stage of your sequence. Allowing you to create a 16 or 24-step sequence with the 962 by connecting it to a 960 Sequential Controller. Therefore, expanding the functionality of your 960 in order to create even more complex and interesting sequences.
CV Inputs and Outputs
Additionally, the SIG IN jacks is what allow the 962 to alternate between inputs. Connect an input signa to input 1 or 2 and your 962 will then alternate between the two inputs. Alternatively, if you’re using all three inputs, the 962 will automatically alternate between the three stages.

Finally, the 962 Sequentia Switch can be easily installed into a standard Eurorack case. Simply connect the power cables, mount the module, and you’re good to go. Allowing you to mix and match your Behringer 962 Sequential Switch with other synth modules for a truly unique setup.
