About The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing and Content Assistant who’s creative, proactive, and excited to be part of a fast-paced marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across a variety of projects, including content creation and campaign support.
You’ll play a key role in keeping marketing operations running across a broad mix of digital marketing and social media initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to complete ad-hoc tasks, create engaging content, and support the execution of campaigns across our digital marketing platforms.
This is a full-time position located at our head office in Dandenong South, VIC. 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
Digital Marketing Support
– Assist with campaigns and ad-hoc tasks across marketing platforms including Yotpo Rewards, Dotdigital, Attentive, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads and other relevant software.
– Assist with creating and managing eDM and SMS campaigns.
– Monitor campaign performance and report on results as required.
Content Creation & Social Media
– Consistently create, film and edit short-form video content tailored to current trends and our audience, as directed by the Marketing Manager and by proactively identifying content gaps.
– Responding to DMs and comments.
– Write captions and short-form copy aligned to brand tone and campaign objectives.
– Track and report on social media performance, including quarterly reporting.
– Ad-hoc filming or photography as directed by Marketing Manager.
About You
– Understanding of DJ Equipment, Studio Gear, Lighting Gear and PA / Live Sound Equipment.
– Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera, including appearing in social media content.
– Video filming and editing experience, and ability to operate a professional camera (we use Sony A7iii).
– Understanding of DJ City’s core audience (DJs, producers, audio engineers, event organisers).
– Experience in marketing, digital support or a similar role.
– Exposure to eDM platforms and other marketing software.
– Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
