The RME DigifaceUSB delivers professional-grade audio connectivity in an extremely compact package. This versatile 66-channel interface combines cutting-edge digital I/O with RME’s renowned driver stability, making it an essential tool for both studio and mobile recording setups.

Compact Digital Connectivity

The Digiface USB features four optical ADAT/SPDIF I/Os and a high-quality analog headphone output via 6.3mm TRS jack. Furthermore, each optical port can handle either ADAT (up to 8 channels) or SPDIF (stereo), with inputs automatically adapting to the received signal format. Additionally, the outputs can be individually switched between ADAT and SPDIF operation, providing exceptional flexibility.

Powerful Mixing Capabilities

Like all the latest RME interfaces, the Digiface USB includes TotalMix FX, a powerful digital real-time mixer. Although this model doesn’t include DSP effects, it still provides unlimited routing and mixing operations with all inputs and playback channels simultaneously to any hardware outputs. Moreover, it features a dedicated Control Room section with Talkback, Main/Phones control, fader groups, and complete remote controllability via Mackie or OSC protocol.

Professional Performance

The Digiface USB supports SMUX and SMUX4 technologies, allowing up to 8 channels via 4x SPDIF or ADAT at sample rates up to 192 kHz. What’s more, the latest Plug and Play technology guarantees simple installation even for inexperienced users. Additionally, the analog output hosts channels 33/34 and can be freely routed thanks to TotalMix FX’s flexible architecture.
