RME ADI-2 Pro High-End AD/DA Converter (Black Edition)

Introducing the flagship RME ADI-2 Pro FS R 2x Channel High-End AD/DA Converter Black Edition. The latest Ultra-Fidelity PCM/DSD 768kHz converter is for the home user who appreciates innovative solutions to industry experts using it as a front-end for measurement systems.

New Experience in Sound and Quality

The ADI-2 Pro provides AD/DA conversion with a host of devices combined in one. It allows for simple use with automated means of using the device straight out of the box. With 2x powerful headphone outputs you can now monitor 2x independent EQ settings or monitor 2x audio signals on two different pairs of headphones for comparison.

With excellent technical specifications and crystal clear transparent sound qualities, it is now powered by the new AK4493 chip. As a result, the ADI-2 Pro will further enhance the already impressive specs over its predecessors. Such as the ADI-2 DAC and the original ADI-2.

This is a very flexible converter. The ADI-2 Pro offers balanced/unbalanced analog I/Os, double Extreme Power headphone outputs, SteadyClock III, 4-stage hardware input and output level control, DSP-based signal processing, external power supply operation, Class Compliant USB compatibility, sample rates up to 768 kHz as well as DSD record and Direct DSD playback.

Perfect Sound Capture and Reproduction

The ADI-2 Pro aims for absolute reference sound. The main PCB has an extraordinary 10 layer design with custom copper thickness that guarantees the finest undisturbed sound. Not to mention ample but separated power for the phones outputs.

RME have designed the ADI-2 Pro for easy operation. They have added a high-quality Sample Rate Converter that is switchable to the AES or SPDIF input. This solves any clocking problem between those. And RME’s latest SteadyClock III technology will ensure perfect jitter reduction and stable clocking, no matter if internal or external clocks are used.

ADI-2 Pro High-Resolution Display

The ADI-2 Pro has many incorporated unique features not found in comparable devices. Such as a 5x band parametric EQ that fully compensates for individual phones and adjustable Bass/Trebble controls for quick access. Selectable AD/DA filters, 4x discrete I/O reference levels, auto reference level settings, auto balanced phones mode, and many more.

Professional features include M/S processing and stereo width with full control over phase reversal. In addition, ADI-2 Pro has the famous RME Spectral Analyzer and a 30-band biquad filtered analysis tool that offers unprecedented musical visualisation. The display will also show you warning and guidance messages and all these professional functions can be enjoyed on the high-resolution IPS display.

Above all, the ADI-2 Pro gives you a streamlined powerful operation with comprehensive connectivity. Therefore, it’s perfect for both home listening and studio reference playback.

DJ City also offers a wide range of professional RME products.
