As a result, this can easily overload most typical active direct boxes that can only handle 3 Volts of power. Using a unique switching power supply, the J48 Stereo uses a unique switching power supply that raises the internal voltage up to a whopping 9 volts. So you’ll enjoy improved signal handling as well as greater headroom. Therefore, significantly reducing distortion and allowing the natural tone of your instrument to shine.
What’s more, the J48 Stereo maintains separation between the left and right channels. Allowing it to be used on two separate instruments or with stereo sources such as keyboards.
