PreSonus NSB 16.8 Networked Stage Box
Bring remote I/O to a StudioLive Series III setup with the PreSonus NSB 16.8. Its 16 locking mic/line inputs, remote-controllable XMAX preamps, gain compensation, and eight locking XLR outputs keep stage connections organised. Meanwhile, AVB networking carries audio between connected equipment.
Shared Inputs, Local Control
Gain compensation on every input makes shared-input setups easier to manage across a network. Each mixer can adjust its preamp level locally relative to the level set on the master mixer. Therefore, supporting practical gain staging without changing the shared master setting.
AVB Networking That Expands
Moreover, the two AVB ports use locking XLR Ethernet jacks for a secure network connection. The built-in 2-port AVB switch supports daisy-chaining multiple units. The 32×8 AVB structure provides 16 direct input channels plus 16 gain-compensated input channels for a flexible networked stage box setup.
Built for Stage Use
Furthermore, a rugged steel chassis, sturdy handles, and a stage box form factor make the unit practical for live setups and transport. It can sit on stage as a dedicated connection point, while the optional rack-ear kit provides another installation choice when a rack-mounted arrangement suits the system.
Simple StudioLive Integration
All inputs can be controlled from a StudioLive Series III console or PreSonus Universal Control software, making setup and adjustments accessible from the connected control environment. The NSB 16.8 can operate alone or alongside other NSB-series stage boxes on the same AVB network.
