High-quality components
Every VM-80 Studio Monitor includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP to enable wide-bandwidth audio reproduction. With its highly efficient performance, you’ll enjoy low distortion and high-energy sound. The 4mm thick rigid aluminum front baffle further suppresses resonance and vibrations. So you’re getting a sound that’s truly authentic to the original source.
Aramid fiber woofer cones and Vortex Bass Accelerator
The VM-80 monitors also feature an aramid fiber woofer cone. Responsible for delivering an outstanding punch that you’ll feel in the bass and low-mid frequencies. They’re 30% lighter than conventional paper-lined Aramid cones so they’re stronger with even deeper sound. The Vortex Bass Accelerator also ensures the low-end is tight and free from unwanted vibrations. While ribs in the bass reflex port means air can flow freely from the speaker to deliver pure sound.
Constant directivity horn
Mid and high-frequency sounds are delivered with power thanks to the VM-80’s constant directivity horn. Also creating a broad, uniform listening space. While the shape of the horn and the woofer edge are specially designed so the flat frequency crosses over to the tweeter easily.
DSP control
Voiced flat, the VM-80 monitors ensure you hear the natural sound of the music. Plus, to help you tweak the output and find the perfect sound, you’ll find built-in DSP settings. On the rear panel, you’ll find 2 knobs; a Low EQ and high EQ. With 4 positions on each, you’ll have 16 possible EQ settings that are simple to engage. So you’re able to choose the one that will sound best for DJing or producing music in your home studio; depending on the shape, size, construction of the room.
