What’s more, the large effect levers on the DJM-S7 allow you to twist sounds on the fly by adding effects. Includingl 22 built-in Beat FX from the DJM-S77 so yo get incredibly creative. As well as software effects in Serato DJ Pro and Rekordbox. It’s easy to change the 6 effects assigned to the pads and you can keep an eye on the value of the one you’re using with the OLED display.
Additionally, you can pair your phone with the DJM-S7 via Bluetooth and drop sounds straight into your set. Play loops to scratch over or use your favourite music app to play tracks requested by the audience. Or, just have your mobile ready and connected as a backup in case your laptop fails.
Finally, the Loop MIDI feature on the DJM-S7 allows you to control various functions in your software by repeatedly sending MIDI signals to the software in a set beat cycle. Functions including Hot Cue, Sampler, and Key Shift-Up, are all preassigned you can start using Loop Midi right away.
