The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 controller and Magma case bundle brings scratch-focused control and practical protection together. Large jog wheels, the MAGVEL FADER, dedicated Stems buttons and a scratch-style layout make the controller ready for dynamic sets. Meanwhile, the rigid case makes carrying the DDJ-REV5 more convenient.
Scratch with a Familiar Feel
Firstly, large jog wheels include playhead-position displays, so you can keep track of your place in each track while scratching. Feeling Adjust lets you customise the jog wheel weight, and the MAGVEL FADER responds to precise fader movements. Together, these controls give the DDJ-REV5 a focused setup for scratch performance.
Build Open-Format Performances
The scratch-style layout places the long tempo sliders horizontally above the deck sections, with Performance Pads and Lever FX in the mixer section. Moreover, that arrangement keeps pads, levers and faders close together. Consequently, making it easier to combine scratching, pad play and effects during open-format performances.
Shape Transitions and Musical Ideas
Dedicated Stems buttons let you separate vocals, melody, bass and drums in Serato DJ Pro, or vocals, drums and instruments in rekordbox. Auto BPM Transition can gradually match the playing track to the other deck, while Piano Play arranges cue-point pitches across the 16 pads in a piano-style layout with three scales.
Connect, Perform and Carry
Use the controller with Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox on PC/Mac, with two PC/Mac USB Type-C connections for swapping between DJs. The Magma case adds an 8 mm rigid Durashock molded EVA shell, water-rejecting polyester exterior, egg-crate foam, high-density EVA foam corners, handles and a shoulder strap.
