The LD Systems MAUI 44 G2 brings professional-level output and controlled coverage to a compact column PA format. Its cardioid column design helps reduce rearward low- and mid-range energy, while TrueWireless™ stereo and Bluetooth® streaming make it practical for mobile performances, clubs, conferences and permanent installations.
Controlled sound for demanding spaces
The cardioid column achieves 18 dB of rear attenuation, helping keep low- and mid-range dispersion focused where it is needed. A 120° horizontal beam angle and 25° vertical beam angle provide broad width with focused vertical directivity, while the 3-way system plus subwoofer covers the full 37 – 20,000 Hz range.
Clear detail with powerful low end
Twelve 3.5″ neodymium mid-range speakers and four tweeters work with BEM-optimized high-frequency waveguides for balanced coverage. Phase plugs improve horizontal directivity and reduce distortion, while the bass-reflex subwoofer brings substantial low-frequency weight. DynX® DSP technology keeps reproduction clean at high volume levels.
Wireless stereo and straightforward connections
TrueWireless™ stereo technology lets two systems connect wirelessly for stereo reproduction. Bluetooth® streaming supports SBC, AAC and aptX™ codecs, while two XLR inputs handle wired sources. Two XLR outputs enable a wired stereo configuration, and the separate SUB OUT can connect an additional subwoofer.
Fast setup for mobile and installed use
The two-part column assembles quickly using special multi-pin connections, so it needs no separate speaker cables or stands for assembly. Automatic setup detection recognises the system configuration and adjusts the displayed controls accordingly. The birch multiplex subwoofer has an 18 mm polyurea-coated housing, and the total system weight is 47.6 kg.
