The LD Systems MAUI 44 G2 SUB W adds deeper, more controlled low end to a compatible MAUI® 44 G2 setup. Its cardioid preset, automatic set-up detection, integrated mixer and XLR connectivity make it a practical powered subwoofer for shaping bass response without fuss.
Control Bass Where It Matters
Firstly, set the subwoofer beside the MAUI® 44 G2 (W), face it towards the rear and press the cardioid button to reduce rearward low-end output by -15 dB. All while keeping the front punch. For extra bass, position it in the same direction as the column and leave the cardioid button unpressed.
Fast, Straightforward Setup
Moreover, automatic set-up detection switches the subwoofer to FOLLOWER mode when no column is attached. Therefore, keeping operation straightforward. The built-in mixer includes two line inputs, two line outputs, a 3 band EQ (High, Mid, Low) and Presets, giving you practical control over connections and core audio adjustments.
Built for Handling and Transport
Furthermore, a polyurea-coated birch plywood housing, 18 mm material thickness and a shockproof front grille made of aluminium suit the demands of regular handling. Two rubber-covered ergonomic handles make lifting easier. Meanwhile, attachment points for the MAUI® 44 G2 CB castor board are intended to aid transport.

Additionally, Bluetooth® version 4.0 supports Audio Streaming (A2DP) and True Wireless Stereo. With SBC, AAC and aptX™ listed among the supported audio codecs.
