Built to travel from the car to the stage, the LD Systems MAUI 28 G2 brings PA and monitoring together in a compact column format. Its two-piece column breaks down for transport, while the subwoofer, integrated mixer and wide-dispersion array arrangement keep setup practical for medium-sized gigs.
Carryable Power for Live Sound
Firstly, the active system uses a Class-D amplifier with 2,000 W peak output and 1,000 W RMS output. Two 8″ woofers supply the low end, sixteen 3″ full-range speakers handle the middle. Also, two 1″ high-frequency drivers complete the multi-driver system with balanced mids and precise highs.
Wide, Even Sound Coverage
Moreover, the array arrangement extends range and spreads sound across a 120° horizontal and 20° vertical beam angle. A BEM-optimised tweeter waveguide reduces floor and ceiling reflections, while the homogeneous dispersion pattern and increased feedback resistance can make separate monitor speakers unnecessary in suitable setups.
Shape the Mix at the System
An integrated 4-channel mixer brings microphone, instrument, line and music sources into the system, with presets for mono or stereo configuration. Bluetooth® Stereo Audio Streaming adds a straightforward way to play audio, while DynX® DSP technology combines EQ, compressor, multiband limiter and crossover processing.
Built for Setup and Installation
The two column elements connect through a secure multi-pin mechanism for plug-and-play setup, then pack down for transport. Aluminium column construction, an aluminium front grille and a painted textured-lacquer subwoofer finish suit both portable use and fixed installations, while the dismountable columns add placement flexibility.
