Boasting a vertical layout, the VPT-1 is easy to hold in your hand. While the five-line musical staff display shows you all the notes so you can intuitively check your pitch. Not to mention the sound back function that can output the reference tone that’s closest to the input vocal. All this, plus heaps more is packed into this compact vocal lesson unit! Giving you the confidence to take your vocal ability to the next level!
It’s no secret that voice recordings always sound different than the voice you hear. That’s because the sound travels a different route, so you might think you’re singing on-pitch when you’re really not. By using the Korg VPT-1, you can successfully train your senses to pick up the perfect pitch. What’s more, it’s perfect for vocal lessons as well.
Sing into the mic on the VPT-1 and the note you sing will be shown on the five-line staff marked with either G-Clef or F-Clef. While the red LEDs on the left of your VPT-1 show whether or not your pitch is too high or low. Allowing you to adjust your voice until only the blue LED is lit up.
Offering three adjustable levels of difficulty, the VPT-1 lets you decide how strict you want to be. Start with EASY mode, and when you’re starting to get more skilled, up it to MEDIUM. Before then switching over to HARD for even further refinements on your pitch accuracy.
Finally, there’s also Sound out and Sound-back features that output reference tones to help you further refine your tone.
