JBL ACTPACK Nanopatch with Cables and Isolation Pads is is a versatile passive volume controller in a compact desktop format. It can be used as a physical volume attenuation knob for audio software applications, when connected between a computer audio interface, or soundcard master output and a pair of active (powered) monitor speakers.
Reducing levels from your software only reduce the audio bit depth. The Nano Patch+ allows you to maintain a maximum audio resolution and attenuate your monitoring volume with the confidence that your audio is not compromised. The Nano Patch+ has no active circuitry, buffers, transistors, batteries, or power supply and limits interference to the main passive outputs. It delivers attenuated signal, that is naturally transparent. While the isolation pads will keep you safe from reflections.
