HeadRush Core Guitar FX/Amp Modeler and Vocal Processor

Your perfect guitar and vocal tone is just a touch away with the HeadRush Core. It features a huge library of realistic guitar effects, amps, cabinets, and microphone emulations. Plus, you can load virtually unlimited impulse responses and capture your favourite analog gear with smart cloning technology.

For singers and multi-instrumental performers, the Core offers a full suite of vocal effects. These include the industry-standard Antares AutoTune®. In addition, it features a best-in-class looper and a built-in drum machine. Its advanced multi-core processor delivers gapless preset switching and fast rig building. Meanwhile, the intuitive 7-inch touchscreen makes editing simple.

All these features fit into a rugged yet compact steel chassis. The Core also offers versatile connectivity, including Bluetooth audio, Wi-Fi, and USB audio recording and re-amping.

Access the World’s Best Tones with Native NAM Support

The HeadRush Core connects you to an open tone ecosystem. With native Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) support, you can explore a wider range of sounds. You also get direct access to TONE3000 through HeadRush Cloud.

Browse, preview, and download compatible NAM captures from tone creators around the world. Then, combine them with onboard amp models, effects, and impulse responses. You can even add your own cloned gear to create personalised guitar, bass, and vocal rigs.

Expanded Multi-NAM Rigs with Firmware 5.2

The free HeadRush Firmware 5.2 update expands the Core’s native NAM A2 capabilities. You can now load up to two NAM A2 Full captures or four NAM A2 Lite captures in one rig. Best of all, no conversion is required.

You can also create true stereo NAM rigs with Stereo Doubling. Alternatively, use Switch Doubling to switch between captures within a rig. For even greater flexibility, combine captured amps, cabinets, pedals, and signal chains.

Furthermore, the update supports NAM A2 Calibration Metadata. This preserves input and output levels stored by compatible capture creators. As a result, you can achieve more accurate gain matching from download to performance.

Complete Guitar and Vocal Rig at Your Feet

The HeadRush Core features an ever-expanding library of premium gear emulations. These cover vintage, modern, and boutique guitar equipment. They also deliver realistic dynamics and a responsive playing feel.

Explore factory presets created by professional sound designers at ChopTones™. You can also use ReValver® models, onboard effects, and impulse responses. For vocalists, the Core includes a full suite of vocal effects, including Antares AutoTune®.

What’s more, you can expand the library through firmware updates. Download updates using onboard Wi-Fi or a USB connection to a Mac or PC. You can also access compatible NAM captures and use third-party impulse responses for more tonal options.

Capture the Authentic Sound of Your Own Gear

With the HeadRush Amp Cloner, you can expand your library using real gear. Its proprietary cloning technology captures the sound, dynamics, and feel of your favourite equipment. This includes amplifiers, preamps, distortion pedals, overdrive pedals, and fuzz pedals.

Getting started is simple. Just follow the guided on-screen wizard to capture your gear. Afterward, combine your captures with onboard models, compatible NAM captures, and third-party impulse responses. This lets you build a collection of tones tailored to your needs.

Intuitive Touch Interface with a 7-Inch Touchscreen

The HeadRush Core features a large 7-inch touchscreen for quick, intuitive control. Simply touch, swipe, and drag and drop to build guitar, bass, and vocal rigs. As a result, you can shape your sound with speed and precision.

The display also provides clear feedback during live performances. Meanwhile, Hands-Free Mode lets you adjust tones using an expression pedal. This makes it easier to fine-tune your sound without interrupting your playing.

Best-in-Class Looper and Practice Tools

The HeadRush Core includes a versatile looper for practice and performance. Record loops up to five minutes long, with up to 20 minutes of total overdub time. You can also save and recall loops whenever you need them. Plus, MIDI synchronisation lets you connect external equipment, such as drum machines.

For more creative options, the built-in drum machine features sounds powered by Alesis Drums and BFD. Use these rhythms for practice, songwriting, or live performance.

You can also load songs directly from Dropbox over Wi-Fi. Once loaded, loop difficult sections or slow them down to learn challenging passages. Additionally, adjust the pitch in semitones to practise songs in different keys. Bluetooth audio also lets you play music from compatible mobile devices. This makes it easy to use streaming services and digital music lessons.

Gig-Ready Hardware with All the Connections You Need

The HeadRush Core sits in a durable, road-ready steel chassis. It also offers a comprehensive range of connections for stage and studio use. These include 1/4-inch and XLR outputs, a headphone output, MIDI I/O, Bluetooth audio, and Wi-Fi.

The stereo effects loop lets you integrate external pedals and gear into your signal chain. You can also use the four-cable method to connect traditional guitar amplifiers. Meanwhile, the built-in USB audio interface supports recording and re-amping directly to your digital audio workstation (DAW).
