The Focusrite RedNet MP8R gives you a 1U, eight-channel remote-controlled Mic Pre and AD interface. Perfectly suited for any Dante audio-over-IP network, the MP8R features network, and power supply redundancy. So it’s the ideal choice for providing mic pres in many critical-path applications. Including post-production, broadcasting, live sound, or the recording studio.

Designed in direct response to requests from live sound and broadcasting clients; RedNet MP8R gives you a high-quality remote-controlled mic pre with high-performance AD conversion. As a result, the MP8R gives you a preamp with a high dynamic range, flat frequency response, and excellent gain performance.

Additionally, thanks to its unique automatic gain compensation feature, the RedNet MP8R allows for a variety of workflows. Each mic pre feeds a pair of network transmitters – one directly fed by the mic pre, and the other fed through automatically compensated DSP that makes mic pre sharing easy! The front panel level indication is provided with 6-segment LED meters. While an OLED display indicates the input gain and other system info.
