Focusrite REDNET D16R MKII
The Focusrite RedNet D16R MKII gives you a 16-Channel Bi-Directional AES3 interface for Dante Networks. A 1U Rackmount device, the RedNet D16R MK2II features individual input and output level controls. So you have precise calibration and control of all input and output levels using RedNet Control. The RedNet D16R MKII also features power supply and Ethernet redundancy, as well as an auto switchover in case of failure.
Boasting various connection options, the RedNet D16R MKII is a flexible addition to any Audio-Over-IP system. While a pair of DB25 multipin connectors each connect 8 channels of AES3 I/O in and out of the interface. On top of that, XLR and RCA ports enable 2-channel AES3 and S/PDIF connections respectively.
Finally, sample rate conversion on every one of the RedNet D16R MKII’s input allows you to operate your equipment at different sample rates. While DARS signals are also accepted on the XLR connector. Word Clock I/O on BNC connectors allow synchronisation to house clock, or syncing external equipment to the Dante network.
