The Behringer WASP Deluxe monophonic analog synth gives you a faithful reproduction of the original classic, 1978, EDP Wasp. Sporting the same bone-rattling lows, and searing highs that made the original Wasp infamous amongst synth circles.
As the name insinuates, the Wasp Deluxe excels at droney, buzzy, and waspy synth sounds. All made possible by its two digital oscillators, distinctive analog VCF, noise generator, and a hive of modulation capabilities. Generate up to three variable oscillator shapes including pulse, ramp, and enhanced mode. With pulse width modulation on oscillator 1 while oscillator 2 swaps out pulse width control for pitch. Allowing you to dial-up warbly, detuned chorus effects, or tune the oscillator to intervals for pseudo-polyphony. You can also manipulate your signal with the Wasp Deluxes’ two analog envelope generators and unique LFO.
But that’s not all, with the Behringer Wasp Deluxe, you can use it as either a desktop module or integrated into your Eurorack system. Sporting an 80HP Eurorack footprint; as well as the ability to integrate into your desktop setup via MIDI or USB connections. Alternatively, you can combine your Wasp Deluxe with multiple synthesizers to achieve up to 16-voice polyphony. It also features an external input, so you can shape and mangle your guitars, vocals, and other instruments using the iconic Wasp Deluxe filters and modulators.
