Music playing features of the Metz Micro
The Metz Micro has a built-in Bluetooth receiver. This will allow you to stream music directly from your smart device and play music through the HiFi Speaker. As a result, you can enjoy all your music from your smartphone, tablet or laptop. You can also play your favourite MP3 tracks by connecting a USB with your favourite playlists. A welcome sight is the inclusion of a CD Player.
This is a fantastic feature for those who have CD collections and enjoy the qualities of physical DISCs. The Metz Micro also ships with an included Remote Control that offers full functionality over the HiFI features.
Front panel physical features
On the front of the Metz Micro, you will find an LCD Display that provides feedback on the media you are playing. You can switch between CD and USB modes with the CD DISC/USB BUTTON.
The DAB/FM BUTTON offers you the latest DAB+ broadcasting services with 10+10 pre-sets. When the radio is connected to the power supply for the first time, the DAB+ mode will be switched on automatically.
The radio will automatically scan for suitable stations. When the station search is complete, you can use the FORWARD and BACKWARD buttons to tune in to the individual stations.
The Metz Micro offers you to store up to 20x stations, 10x stations in DAB+ mode and 10x stations in FM mode.
HiFi via BT
You can connect a mobile device to your HiFi via BT. Switch to BT mode by pressing the FUNCTION button and selecting BT or pressing the BT/AUX button on the remote control.
Just turn on the BT function of your mobile device and search for the BT’s Audizio Prato name. If a password is required, enter the “0000” You can also switch between BT and AUX modes with the BLUETOOTH/AUX BUTTON.
By using the AUDIO in 3.5mm Jack on the front panel you can connect a mobile device to the radio using an AUXILIARY cable.
Additional Operations
The Metz Micro also features a clock and alarm function. You can also program a sleep timer power-saving feature on the HiFi. You can select between 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes for the HiHi to switch off.
Use “Timer On” to set a time for your radio to turn on automatically. Use “Timer Off” to set the time the radio turns off again. After setting up the initial time you can then take advantage of the handy Alarm Clock Function.
Finally, for those who are interested in listening to music without disturbing the neighbours; the Metz Micro also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack.
