Aston Origin Studio Cardioid Condenser Microphone

Aston Origin Studio Microphone

The Astin Origin gives you a high-performance cardioid condenser microphone utilizing a 1" gold evaporated capsule. Versatile enough to use with most instruments while excelling on acoustic guitar and vocals. Combining a hand-selected mic capsule with high-end transformerless circuitry and WIMA capacitor; you're getting the same devices found in boutique microphones at a fraction of the cost. As a result, the Origin offers a direct, smooth, and intimate sound for a natural and transparent recording. Featuring a signature wave-form mesh head, the Origin not only looks great but delivers an unprecedented degree of protection for the capsule. Its shock-resistant wave-form design allows the head of the mic to distort when knocked and then return to its normal position without being damaged at all. It even offers off-axis rejection to help eliminate unwanted artifacts from your recordings. Sporting an exclusive mesh-kit pop filter built into the wave-form head; the Origin allows sound to pass through while eliminating unwanted plosives. It even shields against multiple wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation. Making the Aston Origin ideal for critically sensitive electronic applications. This completely encapsulating, single-piece, mesh cage is made from stainless steel and won't ruse with use. Another unique element on the Origin is the use of custom-molded end caps with integrated XLR and stand adaptor. You won't find any other mic with this feature, and because the internal shock absorption is so good, you can mount the microphone directly to a stand via the built-in, and interchangeable thread adapter. It also makes Aston mics incredibly easy to repair and maintain. Finally, the beauty of Aston microphones is the custom finish of each chassis. Each microphone is individually tumbled for 4 hours, giving it a hard-wearing and sleek finish.
