Aston Origin Black Production Kit Bundle

Aston Origin Studio Microphone

The Aston Origin gives you a high-performance cardioid condenser microphone utilizing a 1″ gold evaporated capsule. Versatile enough to use with most instruments while excelling on acoustic guitar and vocals. Combining a hand-selected mic capsule with high-end transformerless circuitry and a WIMA capacitor; you’re getting the same devices you would find in boutique microphones at a fraction of the cost.

As a result, the Origin offers a direct, smooth, and intimate sound for a natural and transparent recording. Featuring a signature wave-form mesh head, the Origin not only looks great but delivers an unprecedented degree of protection for the capsule. Sporting a shock-resistant wave-form design, the head of the mic will distort when knocked and return to normal position without damage. It even offers off-axis rejection to help eliminate unwanted artifacts from your recordings.

Sporting an exclusive mesh-kit pop filter built into the wave-form head; the Origin allows sound to pass through while eliminating unwanted plosives. It even shields against multiple wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation. Making the Aston Origin ideal for critically sensitive electronic applications. This completely encapsulating, single-piece, mesh cage is made from stainless steel and won’t rust with use. Another unique element on the Origin is the use of custom-molded end caps with integrated XLR and stand adaptor.

You won’t find any other mic with this feature, and because the internal shock absorption is so good, you can mount the microphone directly to a stand via the built-in, and interchangeable thread adapter. It also makes Aston mics incredibly easy to repair and maintain. Finally, the beauty of Aston microphones is the custom finish of each chassis. Each microphone is individually tumbled for 4 hours, giving it a hard-wearing and sleek finish.

Aston Swift

The Aston Swift Shock Mount takes microphone mounting to the next level. Boasting 2 quick-release spring clips designed to fit a range of mics from 40-60mm in diameter, you can mount your microphone within seconds Aston has also reconceived the shock system with an entirely new design idea.

Eliminating the need for fiddly rubber bands whilst offering a high level of elasticity for maximum isolation. Combining Aluminium and high-grade glass-fill nylon polymer with the unique ShockStar suspension for ultimate support. Above all, the Swift offers super-fast mounting and a high-quality British design. So it’s perhaps one of the very best shock mounts on the market.

Aston Shield

The Shield is exceptionally engineered and you can say goodbye to the fiddly thumb screws and limp hanging filters. Providing ultimate pop protection for your vocal recordings, its solid stainless steel design features Astons ‘Hextech’ filter holes. The Hextech design has a large surface area with the ability to wash the shield if required.
