DJ City Richmond Grand Opening
The Grand Opening of our brand new DJ City Richmond store was a massive success! We had an incredible turnout and a very busy, but awesome day!
Grand Opening Day
On June 10th, we had a very special Grand Opening Sale to celebrate the opening of our new store. We had some very keen customers take advantage of these crazy 80% off special items as well as our 20% off major brands. We were surprised to see our first customer, Lachlan, outside our door at 1pm Friday – the day before! He was ready to camp out and had invited his mates to come and get some gear too! As we left Friday evening, 4 dedicated customers had an incredible set-up ready to go. With a marquee, sleeping bags and some snacks, these guys were in for a long night! Come morning, we had a massive line of about 60 customers waiting to enter and growing! Camping out paid off for our first group of customers who left with some awesome gear at incredible prices!

Exclusives
We were very excited to have Australia’s first demo Prime Series on display at our Richmond Grand Opening. Denon gave us the gear for the day – 6 weeks ahead of the official Australian release! With two SC5000 Professional DJ Media Players and one X1800 Professional DJ Club Mixer, customers and staff were testing the highly anticipated units and loving it! Featuring the DJ City logo, the Prime series was being played all day with many incredible features shining through. These players are truly game-changing and we can’t wait to get them in stock!
Novation Peak
In another Richmond exclusive, we were lucky enough to have Australia’s first demo Novation Peak too! The Peak is an eight-voice polyphonic synthesiser which delivers a variety of warm and rich tones as well as the grungy sounds. It features three new Oxford Oscillators for each voice and everyone on the day enjoyed the unit and had a good run through all the available sounds. A very exciting addition to the Novation range. We’re looking forward to getting these in!
The New Store
After months of hard-work and preparation, our Richmond store is finally complete and ready for our amazing customers. This is our biggest showroom yet, with plenty of stock in-store and on display for you to see and try! If you missed our Grand Opening, make sure you come and check it out.
