We are very excited to announce that DJ City Brisbane will be opening in 2017!
DJ City has grown in Melbourne, expanded to NSW and is now launching in sunny Queensland!
Our brand new store will be located in Mansfield which is approximately 11 kilometres south-east of the CBD.
This will be our first store in Brisbane and will feature 300 square metres of shop space with an extensive showroom and hire department.
Over the years, many of our customers have been asking for a store in QLD. The time has finally come!
We have been supplying our Brisbane customers via our online store for years with a vast range of lighting and sound equipment. Now DJs, musicians, producers and those alike in Brisbane can visit us in-store and see the latest products in our extensive showroom and shop!
Our showroom will feature a range of audio and lighting gear from the world’s biggest brands including Chauvet DJ, JBL, EV, LD Systems and many more!
The Brisbane store will also have a hire department which contains a wide variety of packages suitable for parties, weddings, corporate functions and other events. For more details, take a look at our hire catalogue.

DJ City’s success has been built around it’s incredible team of dedicated staff with a passion for the industry. We’re looking for just the right people to work at our Brisbane store and join our team.
We’re looking for a full-time Store Manager and full-time Salesman to work at the new Brisbane store.
There are a variety of duties to be performed while working at DJ City. Duties will include:
- Assisting with preparation and the return of hire equipment
- Assisting with cleaning and basic maintenance of lighting and audio equipment.
- Telephone answering and customer inquiries
- General duties as directed
- Relevant office administration including reports, rostering, transfers and stocktake
Those who are likely to be successful will be passionate about the industry and have the following skills:
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work well under time pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent computer skills
- Proactive ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to follow company procedures
- Experience in customer service
Working hours will be:
- Monday – Friday
- 10 am – 6 pm
- 10 am – 5 pm
