Vonyx VDA1000 – Two Channel 500W PA Amplifier (Class-D 1000W)
The Vonyx VDA1000 is a Super-Compact Stereo Two-Channel 500W PA Amplifier in a 1U rack-mountable housing. Featuring a 1000W Class-D amplifier it offers flexibility for both fixed installations and mobile applications. It also offers silent operation and provides your PA System with the power and sound qualities it deserves. This portable amplifier is lightweight and will fit inside a standard 19″ Inch rack unit with a height of 1U. This makes the VDA1000 perfect for fixed installations in venues, for musicians, or in the studio.
Operation and Connectivity
On the VDA1000 front panel, you will find a power switch and volume controls for both channels. Also present are indicator lights for direct feedback and performance of the Amplifier. The indicator section provides you with vital information for Signal Protection, Signal Clipping, VU-Meter and Power ON/OFF for both channels.
The rear panel offers 2x Combo Jack Inputs for Channel 1 and 2. You can either use a 6.3mm Jack or XLR (3-pin). There are also 2x Balanced NL-4 Speaker 4-pin outputs present. The VDA1000 will provide a frequency response between 20Hz and 20kHz. Aside from the AC In (220-240VAC 50Hz) and Fuse Holder; the VDA1000 features a cooling air exhaust on the back to assist with overheating.
The VDA1000 offers a Singal to Noise Ratio of 95db and offers a Low Distortion of 98dB. When connecting speakers it provides an Input Line Sensitivity of 775mV and an Input Impedance of 4 or 8 Ohm (10 kOhms).
