Universal Audio Volt 2 Max USB Audio Interface (10-in/4-out)

The Universal Audio Volt 2 Max brings record-ready tone and hands-on control to your desk. It combines two Tone Shaping Preamps, Max Processing, Auto-Gain, Clip Protection, and a full-colour Smart Display. As a result, singers, players, producers, podcasters, and streamers get a clear path from source to session.

Shape Your Sound at the Source

Two Tone Shaping Preamps offer 60 dB of gain and three character modes: Warmth, Focus, and Shine. In addition, Max Processing adds real-time onboard compression with six presets for vocals, guitars, and bass. Together, these tools help you lock in a strong starting sound before you hit record.

Keep Levels Clear and Easy to Read

The full-colour Smart Display shows inputs, levels, settings, and gain reduction at a glance. Meanwhile, Auto-Gain sets recording levels in seconds. Clip Protection also helps catch sudden peaks, so you can focus on the take. For monitoring, you get two headphone outputs with one shared cue mix, plus a stereo monitor output.

Connect, Expand, and Create Anywhere

Mic, line, and front-panel Hi-Z inputs cover vocals, instruments, and outside sources. Each channel also has switchable +48V phantom power for condenser mics. Additionally, you get MIDI In and Out, plus ADAT or S/PDIF optical input. Finally, an onboard USB hub, built-in talkback mic, and loopback make sessions, podcasts, and livestreams easier.

From First Take to Finished Session

USB bus power keeps your setup mobile. Because it is class compliant, the Volt 2 Max works with Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone. On Windows, install the ASIO driver from the UA Connect app. Some Apple devices need a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, and bus-power needs vary by device.

Every Volt 2 Max also comes with FREE UA Software, including LUNA Digital Audio Workstation and UAD plug-ins and instruments. However, UAD Volt Studio and third-party bundles may change without notice.
