Universal Audio Volt 2 Gen 2 USB Audio Interface (2-in/4-out)

Universal Audio Volt 2 Gen 2 brings Tone Shaping Preamps, hands-on level control and 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion to a compact, bus-powered USB audio interface. Auto-Gain, Clip Protection and the full-color Smart Display keep recording simple, whether you are working at a computer or making music on a compatible mobile device.

Shape Your Sound at the Source

Two Tone Shaping Preamps offer Warmth, Focus and Shine character modes, giving vocals and instruments three distinct starting points. The two mic / line inputs also work with the front-panel Hi-Z instrument inputs, so you can record vocals and instruments together or capture a stereo source. Independent +48V phantom power per channel supports condenser microphones.

Keep Levels Clear and Easy to Read

The full-color Smart Display shows inputs, levels and settings with bright visual feedback, making key information easy to check while you record. Auto-Gain sets recording levels quickly, while Clip Protection adds another layer of control when a performance suddenly gets louder. This keeps attention on the take instead of constant meter watching.

Record, Monitor and Stream Your Way

Volt 2 provides one stereo monitor output and one stereo headphone output with one cue mix for tracking and playback. Built-in loopback blends live sources with computer audio for podcasting, streaming and content creation. USB bus power and class-compliant operation make setup straightforward on Mac, Windows, iPad and iPhone.

Make More of the Included Software

The included FREE UA Software features LUNA Digital Audio Workstation and UAD plug-ins and instruments, alongside additional software such as Melodyne Essential, the Ampeg SVT-VR Classic Bass Bundle, Virtual Drummer DEEP and Virtual Bassist DANDY. Included UAD Volt Studio and third-party software bundles are subject to change without notice.
