The Studiologic Numa Compact 2X takes the power of the Compact family to the extreme. Housed in the same compact sized cabinet, the Numa Compact 2x now boasts 3 separate sound engines. A tonewheel organ model derived from Numa Organ, the Sledge sound synthesis, and 1GB of onboard samples. On top of that, the new USB port allows you to transmit and receive digital audio. So you’ll save more space using the built-in Numa Compact 2X speakers to amplify the sounds of your computer or tablet.

Tone wheel organ
Also implemented into the Numa Compact 2X’ sound engine is a true tone wheel derived from the acclaimed Numa Organ. Featuring 9 programmable sliders that you can use as Drawbars to control the organ sounds and send MIDI information.
Virtual synth machine
Another notable inclusion is the addition of the Sledge virtual synth engine. Allowing you to create any synthetic sound starting from a basic waves library, and using the 9 sliders to control a number of synthesis parameters.
Audio over USB
Finally, the new USB port on the Studiologic Numa Compac 2X allows you to send and receive audio with digital quality. Send and record the sound of the NC2x on the computer, or use it as an audio board; amplifying the digital audio coming from the computer through the built-in speakers, in endless combinations.
Japan Grand Sound Library
The latest sound pack available for the Numa Compact 2X gives you an original sampling of a Japanese Concert Grand Piano. Digitally recorded with 8 high-quality microphones, and includes all 88 notes; as well as the natural release sound of each string. Download the sound pack here
