Studiologic Numa X Piano 73 Key
The Studiologic Numa X Piano 73 Key is an advanced stage digital piano that offers an incredibly powerful brand-new sound engine. It prides itself on user organisation and intuitive ways of offering the best feeling in performance.
You won’t have to give up any function as the Numa X Piano 73 provides an effective and streamlined interface. Featuring a razor-sharp TFT colour display it offers users a new and intuitive user experience. You can easily assign 4x parts to internal sounds or external MIDI for ultimate control. Furthermore, it includes a four-track built-in digital mixer with Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble controls.
TP/110 with 3 contacts and Aftertouch
The shorter version of the TP/110 Premium Hammer Action Keybed offers 73x sturdy keys with fluent control and an impressive bounce reduction. You can also programme the feel response function on the keyboard to react between Soft, Medium, Hard and Fixed sensitivities. The Black/White keys are balance and also feature Aftertouch that allows for further expression and more accurate control.
Numa X Piano 73 Sound Generation
The Numa X Piano 73 provides you with 8x Sound Banks that offer over 200+ Factory Sounds. If that’s now enough, you can also install new sounds using the Manager app. The latest sound engine will produce mind-blowing sounds and this is thanks to a mix of sampling, waveshaping and physical modelling.
The Acoustic Pianos with enhanced TRS technology utilise hi-resolution spectral interpolation. This essentially means that the acoustic modelling sounds so good that you will experience the feeling of the real thing. It also provides you with zoom controls for tone, strings resonance, duplex and damper noise.
The Electic Piano offers physical modelling of vintage electric pianos and hybrids. It provides users with zoom controls for hammer, offset, tine and damper noise.
The Numa X Piano 73 also includes other instruments such as Keyboards, Bass & Guitars, Organs, Synthesizers, Orchestral and includes zoom controls for filter cutoff, resonance, attack and release.
Four Instrument and four audio Zones
Besides the Master Volume, you will find the Instrument/Audio Zone section on the front panel. This section allows you to use 4x Zone Encoders independently. The zones and the context have dedicated colours which consist of orange, yellow, green and blue for easy identification. You can also adjust the zone level and press to Mute/UnMute or Solo for each zone. Beneath the Zone Encoder is a dedicated Zone Select (Zoom) button where you can assign sounds and FX.
Controls / UI Management controls
The System section provides management controls for up to 4x Audio inputs as you do with the Instrument Zones. You can adjust levels, apply Master FX and Zoom to adjust the input gain and EQ. You can also equalize the sounds globally with the dedicated Master EQ button. The Global Setting Button allows you to Transpose, access Keyboard Curves, Pedals and Sticks configuration including MIDI communication. This section is powered by a razor-sharp TFT 2,8″ Colour Display (320 x 240). You can further navigate your selections with the Main Dial (Joystick) by rotating selected programs and arrow buttons allow for system browsing.
Sound Banks & Favorites
The Sound Banks/Favourites section offers 8x buttons for sound selection or for favourite programmed quick recalls. The Numa X Piano 73 offers 8x soundbanks consisting of Acoustic Piano, Electric Piano, Keyboards, Bass & Guitars, Organs, Synthesizers, Orchestral and Other. Also present is the Split/Layer for each Zone Button and a MIDI Button. The MIDI function allows you to Make a Zone into a Master keyboard to control Software Instruments (USB) or Hardware devices using MIDI out.
Insert & Master Effects
Lastly is the Insert & Master Effects Section. Here you can activate between FX A and FX B amounts. FX A offers Distortion, Overdrive, Auto Wah, Pedal Wah, Auto Pan, Tremolo, Vibrato, Equalizer and Compressor. As FX B includes Chorus1, Chorus 2, Flanger 1, Flanger 2, Phaser100, Phaser90, Phaser HMX, Phaser Pad, Rotary, Auto Pan, Tremolo, Vibrato, Equalizer and Compressor. By rotating the encoder knobs you can adjust the FX amount or send levels.
Numa X Piano 73 Connectivity Options
On the back panel of the Numa X Piano 73, you will find 3x Pedal Ports. Port 3 is assigned by default to an SLP3-D special triple pedal, Port 2 offers a default expression pedal as Port 1 is assigned to a Sustain pedal. Moving along are 4x Audio inputs where you can connect up to 4x Mono or 2x Stereo audio sources such as a Mic, Guitar, Bass or Synthesizer. 2x Audio outputs can be used to connect the Numa X Piano 73 to a PA system or monitor speakers. A convenient headphones jack is also present so you can connect your favourite headphones. Both MIDI IN and OUT are also present for connecting to additional 5 Pin devices including an audio interface.
The versatile USB port also allows you to use the Numa X Piano 73 in 3 modes. The first mode is USB IN; where it can be used as Playback Stereo Audio from a computer/tablet, DAW or software instrument connected by USB. The second mode is to use it as a USB Audio OUT, where you can Record Stereo Audio on a computer/tablet or DAW connected by USB. Finally, when used as a USB MIDI, you can Control Software Instruments by USB MIDI or control X-Piano by a MIDI DAW on a computer.
