Source Audio ULTRAWAVE

The Source Audio Ultrawave Multiband Processor takes the potential of overdrive and tremolo to new heights. Explore a brave new universe of sounds yet to be heard thanks to its dynamic and multi-dimensional approach to multiband processing. Splitting the frequency spectrum of a guitar, bass, or synthesizer, multiband processing turns it into multiple discrete frequency bands. While each band is also equipped with its own adjustable parameters.

Overdrive

When it comes to Overdrive, the Ultrawave splits the incoming signal and offers separate drive and output levels for each individual band. As a result, you get a thick, rich distortion with loads of unique overtones and dynamic interplay. You can split the signal in 1,2,3,4,8, or 10 frequency bands. Then, apply any of the band splitting options to an exciting collection of overdrive types. Including Tube, Diode, Foldback, Octave Up, Negative Flip Diode, and more.

The Ultrawave also has an incredible companion collection of innovative sound processing blocks to take sound creation to new directions. These are found in the Neuro Desktop Editor or the Neuro Mobile App. All of these presets can be either loaded directly into the pedal, saved to a personal, cloud-based preset library, and published to the community to share.

Tremolo

The dual-channel compressor block also includes studio-level controls that you can place either before or after the drive circuits. The Multiband Temolo block then provides individual control of each bands tremolo depth, rate, and start time. As well as its LFO wave shape. Change the LFO wave shape and vary the temolo start times and you can create some fantastic propuslive sounds. Similar to what you’d find on sequencers and arpeggiator effects. The LFOs Ring Mod option creates waves of retro and futuristic industrialism.

Sound Morphing

Lastly, the Morph feature explores the massive potential of sound morphing. Allowing you to smoothly transition from one tone to another with an expression pedal, LFO, or envelope. The Ultrawave also has advanced stereo features that can send entirely different drive effects to each of the outputs for a wide stereo field. Plug in, turn. it up, and explore multiband processing!
