Source Audio Spectrum

The Source Audio Spectrum intelligent filter gives you the most powerful filter effect pedal ever created. Building upon almost 15 years of filter pedal technology and know-how, Spectrum is the culmination of Source Audio’s finest envelope sounds. While also offering the easiest way to incorporate them into your guitar rig.

Not only do you get finely crafted envelope filter effects inspired by some of the most iconic pedals on the market. But you also get buzzing, synth-like octave, distortion, and filter effects. It’s a cleverly integrated, all-in-one funk/psych/electronic/jam machine.

You can also integrate the Spectrum pedal directly with the free Neuro app for both desktop and mobile. So you’re able to plug and play with the 6 great-sounding factory presets. Or, jump onto the app and create your own, or browse the massive library of presets created by other Spectrum owners. Above all the Spectrum is the perfect choice for guitar, bass, keyboard, horn, or any other instrument.

Plug-In and Play

Optimised for the plug-and-play experience, Spectrum offers easy to use tones straight out of the box. It also offers synth-like tones comprised of distorted octave and envelope phaser sounds. Because of the pedals ALT button, Spectrum’s four knob control allows you to access 8 different parameters. So you can use Input Gain, Sensitivity, and Speed controls to dial in the perfect envelope response for your needs. If your performance calls for a slow and smooth movement, you can really dig-in on the strings. While a quick-moving filter will be perfect for light picking. Either way, you can achieve it with the Spectrum.

Then you’ve got Frequency, Resonance, Depth, and Mix controls that provide fine control over the colour and character of your effects. Above all, Spectrum is one of the most comprehensive filter effects pedals on the market!

  • Six Onboard Presets: Choose from six different onboard envelope filter effects. Vintage sounds include effects inspired by the iconic Mu-Tron© and Lovetone Meatball© pedals, as well as contemporary envelopes with thumping octave-down effects and buzzing synth-like tones.
  • Simple 4-Knob Control Panel: Adjust 8 different parameters with 4 knobs. Primary controls include Input Level, Modulation Depth, Frequency Starting Point, and Envelope Speed. Alternate controls (accessible by pressing the ALT button) include Envelope Sensitivity, Wet/Dry Mix, Resonance, and Output Volume.
  • Excellent Envelope Filter Response: Use the Spectrum’s Input Gain, Sensitivity and Speed controls to dial in the perfect envelope response for your needs. Maybe you like slow and smooth envelope movement while you really dig-in on the strings, or possibly you want a quick moving filter that responds to light picking – either way is achievable with the Spectrum.
