The Solid State Logic SSL Fusion gives you an all-analog 2U stereo outboard processor. Designed for modern hybrid studios, the Fusion features 5 brand new analog colouration tools. Delivering the perfect combination of added tonal character, weight, and space to your mix bus or stereo stems. All with the detail, warmth and finesse you’ll only find on real analog circuits!
The SSL legacy is its collection of analog audio processing tools. Now, the Fusion takes SSL into a new era. Introducing a suite of brand new analog processing tools that offer exceptional tonal character and versatility. Fusion expands the processing palette and is perfect to combine with the SSL Stereo Bus Compressor.
What’s more, the SSL Fusion boasts a number of workflows enhancing features including; +/-12dB Input and Output Trim controls, an Input overload LED; large peak-hold metering; a front-end 3rd order High Pass Filter; and tri colour status indicators for the Vintage Drive and HF Comp sections. You can also use a set of XLR connections as either a Stereo Insert for stereo mix bus processing. Or even switched to function as a Mid-Side circuit enabling separate compressors or EQ.
In the SSL Fusion’s Stereo Insert mode, you can switch the insert point to pre-Violet EQ. While in MS mode the insert can be switched to pre-Stereo Image controls. Input and Output connections are made via XLR
