SSL 2 – Legacy 4K

Legacy 4K brings you an all-new analog enhancement effect inspired by the renowned SSL 4000 4K series console. With the Legacy 4K button, the SSL 2 brings 2 essential characteristics of 4K sound into a single circuit. Allowing you to breathe new life into your boring or dull input sources.

#1 – High-Frequency EQ Boost

The first thing engaging the legacy 4K button will do for the SSL 2 is introduce a forward, high-frequency EQ boost. Something that the classic 4000-series EQ’s are known and loved for.

#2 – Subtle-Harmonic Distortion

Another feature 4K consoles are known for is sending a certain sound to signals passing through them. Seen through multiple stages of harmonic distortion from compressor VCAs, VCA Faders, and other crucial areas such as transistor mix amps.
