Sennheiser MD 435

The Sennheiser MD 435 gives you a large-diaphragm microphone that brings accentuated presence, sparkle, and pleasant detail to every voice. Bringing the renowned sound of the MD 9235 capsule to a wired vocal microphone.

With the new MD435, even soft voices will effortlessly assert themselves. Not only will your vocals cut through the mix, but they’ll also retain the natural quality and detail that the MD 9235 was so famous for.

Boasting a lightweight aluminum-copper voice coil, the MD 435 ensures a fast transient response. Resulting in a detailed, nuanced, and transparent sound, especially in the treble. The large-diaphragm microphone features extremely wide dynamics of 146 dB, and can even handle sound pressure levels of up to 163 dB/1 kHz.

These outstanding acoustics come with a mechanical design that’s built to take on the rigors of life on tour. Housed in a metal casing with a shock-mounted capsule that will protect it from structure-borne noise. There’s even a hum-compensating coil that protects the microphone against electromagnetic interference.

Finally, the cardioid MD 435 features an extremely pleasant proximity effect. As well as a microphone that’s very tolerant hitting the capsule at different angles. Above all, the MD 435 will reproduce vocals loudly and clearly even in loud live settings.
