The sE Electronics RNT is a large-diaphragm, multi-pattern tube condenser microphone. Designed and developed together with pioneering designer Rupert Neve. While bringing the professional recording quality of classic tube microphones into modern-day technology. Allowing you to capture both vocals and instruments with enhanced depth and sonic clarity. Featuring a handcrafted, gold-sputtered, 1″ true-condenser, dual-diaphragm capsule; giving you a natural sound. With the low-noise ECC82 optimised for driving the custom made Rupert Neve output transformer. Housed in an all-metal chasis, the RNT provides efficient rejection from interference and noise. Additionally, a second Rupert Neve output transformer can be found in the microphone’s power supply. Featuring a nine-position polar pattern switch, allowing you to choose between; omnidirectional, cardioid, figure-8, or positions in-between. So you can optimize the pickup of the desired sound source while controlling ambient sound and minimizing unwanted signal bleed.
Using fully discrete, Class-A electronics offering 3 stages of active gain with 24dB of extended dynamic range. Perfect for recording ambient noises or close-miking loud instruments and voices. While the two switchable low cut filters help reduce unwanted rumble,
