Roland VR-1HD AV Streaming Mixer

The Roland VR-1HD brings you the easiest solution for broadcasting live streams. Allowing you to broadcast dynamic multi-camera live streams at the touch of a button; while ensuring your audience sees an amazing picture and sound quality that will easily outshine standard live-streams from mobiles or static webcams. So if you’re a content creator, gamer, commentator, podcaster or live streamer, the VR-1HD will take your connection with your audience to a whole new level.

VR-1HD – Plug-and-Play Broadcast Studio

Sporting 3 “worry-free” HDMI inputs, the VR-1HD accepts a variety of HD and computer-based video resolutions. Allowing you to easily connect, switch, and stream different sources including cameras, gameplay, and even smartphones without even having to think. While the audio from these input sources can be blended using the two studio-quality XLR microphone inputs and dedicated line input.

Finally, due to the VR-1HD being designed specifically for live streaming. You’ll find its dedicated controls and top-mounted mic input (with gooseneck) allow you to go hands-free and headset-free whilst you stream.

Switch to superior live streams

If you’re preparing a video for uploading, your editing software will likely boast some impressive layering options and transitions that make “live-switched” videos look boring by comparison.  With the VR-1HD, you also have access to built-in Scene Switching that allows you to instantly jump between scenes that contain preset arrangements of layered sources. All displayed within customizable inset windows. So you can set-up scenes in advance, then recall them via the five scene preset buttons; making your live streams a whole lot more interesting!

Stand out from the crowd

What’s more, the VR-1HD features effects for Chroma keying and green screens, so you’ll really stand out from the crowd. Making your streams more interesting, green-screen effects work by placing your subject in front of a background that isn’t really there. A high-end visual effect that you’ll likely have seen in movies and weather reports. So whether you feel like broadcasting from the beach, or even another planet; these built-in effects will make sure your live stream stands out from the rest.

Video director inside

Typically, if you’re live streaming a podcast with multiple cameras, you’d usually need someone to assist in switching between cameras. Another benefit of the VR-1HD is its smart Auto-Switching modes that take the pain out of switching shots once the broadcast begins! Sporting innovative technology, the VR-1HD intelligently switches cameras based on who’s speaking into their microphone. Then, when more than one person is talking at once; the Roland VR-1HD will switch to a wide shot that shows both presenters!

Sound your best with the VR-1HD

When watching a live stream, no one ever mentions good sound quality, but they’ll surely notice if it’s bad. Helping to ensure high-quality audio, the VR-1HD offers built-in Equalizers, Gates, and Compressors so you always sound your best. While there’s also a Reverb effect to add a little extra ambiance to your voice; great if your podcast guest decides to break out into song, or you just want to live-stream your performance!

Connect to your computer, connect to your audience

Using a similar connection technology to webcams, the Roland VR-1HD can easily hook up to your computer via USB 3.0. Then, fire up your live casting software and enjoy professionally produced, Full HD broadcasts on all your favourite platforms. Including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, and Instagram Live.
