Firstly, the TM-2 combines 162 internal instruments with trigger control for a practical way to expand an acoustic drum kit. Its sounds include acoustic drums, percussion, modern electronic instruments, and tonal elements designed for layering with live drums. Therefore, making it useful for rock, metal, electronic music, and other styles.
Connect Pads and Drum Triggers
Two 1/4-inch TRS trigger inputs support single- and dual-trigger pads, giving you a straightforward starting point for a hybrid setup. The module works with Roland RT series acoustic drum triggers and percussion pads, including the BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, KT-10, V-Pads, and V-Cymbals.
Play Your Own WAV Sounds
Load WAV audio files onto an SDHC memory card and use them alongside the internal instruments. One-shot samples, loop phrases, studio-processed drums, sound effects, and complete backing tracks can be assigned to kits, while the onboard multi-effects add reverb, flanger, delay, and other processing options.
Keep Your Setup Compact
The compact module mounts to a hi-hat stand or drum rack with the included mounting plate and standard multi-clamp. Battery or AC adaptor power suits setups where space and access to mains power vary, while large buttons and a backlit LCD keep kit selection and basic operation easy to follow.
