With the new OCTAPAD SPD-20, it retains all the sounds from the original percussion pad while providing an impressive selection of new ones to choose from. Additionally, you’ll find EQ, compression and three onboard effects engines. Each with 38 multi-effects that you can apply to a single instrument. Even further broadening the sonic possibilities of the OCTAPAD SPD-20.

Authentic Sounds from Around the World

Boasting a number of new sounds, the OCTAPAD SPD-20 PRO gives you everything you need for live performances or studio production. All sampled in the highest quality, these sounds allow you to cover Asian, African, Latin, and a number of other music styles. Traditional drum kits are on tap too, including a number of high-end drums and cymbals originally found on the TD-27 V-Drums sound module. All up, you’ll find more than 900 instruments for musical exploration.

Real-Time Sound Editing for Expressive Performances

On top of that, the SPD-20 PRO comes with 100 great-sounding presets that are ready to play. Alternatively, you can customize them perfectly to fit your style and music taste. The backlit LCD and direct-access buttons support real-time editing of instrument sounds as you perform. As well as the ability to layer up to four sounds on any one pad using the pad link function. Additionally, the kit chain function lets you line up kits to match your set. So it’s never been easier to call up exactly what you need.
