The RCF SUB 15-AS active subwoofer brings substantial low-frequency output to portable live sound systems without demanding a complicated setup. Its 15-inch woofer, built-in Class-D amplification, Bass Motion Control, and flexible crossover connections make it a practical foundation for reinforcing bass with compatible 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch loudspeakers.
Controlled Bass at High Output
Bass Motion Control maps the woofer’s dynamic behaviour and limits over-excursion only when needed. That approach allows the transducer to handle low audible frequencies while maintaining stability and linearity. Combined with the 35 Hz – 400 Hz frequency response, it gives live sound and DJ systems a clear way to extend low-frequency range.
Flexible System Connections
Mono/stereo XLR/TRS combo inputs accept balanced or unbalanced signals. Meanwhile, the XLR link and stereo XLR crossover outputs make it straightforward to pass audio through a larger system. Moreover, rear-panel volume, polarity, and low-pass frequency controls let operators tailor the subwoofer to the rest of the setup.
