Radial Catapult TX4M 4-Channel Microphone-Level Stage Box/Transmitter

The Radial Catapult TX4M turns four mic-level channels into a tidy long-distance connection over shielded Cat5/Cat6 cable. With transformer-isolated through-outputs, etherCON output and throughput connections, plus a ground-lift switch, it provides a practical way to route audio wherever.

Long-Distance Mic-Level Routing

Firstly, four XLR inputs feed the passive, transformer-based mic splitter. Meanwhile, shielded Cat5/Cat6 cable carries the signal across the required distance. Consequently, this makes the unit useful for live-sound reinforcement and for system contractors routing audio through pre-wired networks between separate rooms.

Flexible Outputs for Signal Distribution

Moreover, four XLR through-outputs feature mic-level transformer isolation for additional routing. The RJ45-type etherCON output is intended for use with the Catapult RX4M, while the separate through-output can feed additional Catapult models, making it easier to continue a mic-level signal path where the installation requires it.

Phantom Power and Ground Control

Phantom power can travel over the snake when shielded Cat5 cable is used, keeping that requirement clear during setup. If noise appears on the Cat5/Cat6 line, the ground-lift switch disconnects ground on the RJ45 connector to help mitigate ground-loop noise.

Built for Handling and Setup

A 14-gauge steel chassis and outer shell are finished with a durable powder coat, while the steel handle makes transport easier. Four bumpers protect the Ethernet connectors and ground-lift switch from wear and tear. Glass-filled nylon XLR connectors, nickel-silver contacts and durable Radial push switches complete the practical stage box design.
