Designed as a boost/slave amplifier for use with a PRM-Series amplifier, the PRS240 supplies additional power through a single output channel. Its 8 ohm and 100V output options make it suitable for systems using either conventional low-impedance speakers or 100V speaker lines, depending on the installation.

Having both 8 ohm and 100V speaker outputs gives the system a practical choice of connection format. That flexibility makes the amplifier easier to match to the speaker setup already in place, while the input gain control allows the incoming level to be adjusted directly on the amplifier.
