Power Dynamics PDW500MP3 500W 6-Zone PA Mixer Amplifier
The Power Dynamics PDW500MP3 is a 500W 6-zone PA mixer amplifier for commercial audio, paging and background music PA systems. It suits schools, retail stores, restaurants, hotels, offices, shopping centres and other public spaces. It can also operate as a 100V line amplifier or as a standard low-impedance amplifier, so installers have more flexibility when matching it with ceiling speakers, wall speakers or other compatible passive PA speakers like the PDY215 Passive Speaker.
Separate Zone Control
The PDW500MP3 includes 6 speaker zones with separate volume controls. As a result, different areas can be adjusted from one central amplifier, which is useful for multiroom audio and public address systems. For example, a restaurant may need lower background music in dining areas and a higher level near an entry or function space. Likewise, a school, office or retail site may need simple control across several speaker areas.
Bluetooth, USB, SD and FM Playback
The built-in media player gives you several source options for everyday audio. You can stream wirelessly using Bluetooth, play music from USB or SD card, or use the FM tuner for radio playback. In addition, this makes the PDW500MP3 easy to use for background music without adding separate playback equipment.
Microphone Inputs and Paging Support
A switchable XLR input with 24V phantom power supports paging microphones and compatible condenser microphones. Therefore, it is useful for announcements, front-desk paging and general voice use. As a rack-mountable PA amplifier, the PDW500MP3 is also built for practical installation in commercial audio systems where music, microphones and zone control need to work from one unit.
