The Power Dynamics PD18C is built for speaker designs where high power handling, long excursion and control matter. Its 18″ woofer format combines a copper voice coil, ferrite magnet and reinforced paper cone. Thus, making it suitable for many two-way speakers and bass reflex solutions.

With 2000W maximum output power and 1000W RMS output power, this woofer is suited to high-power subwoofer applications. The 8 Ohm impedance gives cabinet designers a clearly defined electrical value to work around. Meanwhile, the 33Hz – 2000Hz frequency response covers the intended low-frequency range.
Construction Focused on Control
Moreover, the 4″ (100mm) inside-outside copper voice coil works with the ferrite magnet as part of the driver’s construction. An aluminium basket reduces magnetic interference. Also, the glass-fibre reinforced paper cone and radial cone shape are suited to designs where long excursion and control are important.
