The Power Dynamics CX16-1 gives you a 1.5M, power connector extension cable with 3 x 1.5mm2 conductors. Sporting an IP65 rating, the CX16-1 is short-circuit protected and lockable. Therefore making it suitable for all professional applications. Because of the IP65 rating, it certifies the CX16-1 for outdoor use as it is dust and water-resistant.
IP65 is an Ingress Protection classification. It is a rating that defines an international standard for defining the sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures. More specifically the IP65 rating includes dust-tight protecting which also includes water splash resistance.
