Still learning how to mix smoothly between tracks? With Smart Fader and Smart CFX, it’s way easier to make cleaner transitions while you develop your manual mixing skills. Smart Fader can automatically adjust the volume, bass and BPM as you move the channel fader or crossfader between tracks. Meanwhile, Smart CFX allow you to manage a combination of effects with a single knob, automatically adding cool effects to a transition, build-up or drop. You can now get creative quickly without the hassle of navigating through menus during your transitions!
A Beginner-friendly DJ Controller
DJing has never been more accessible with the DDJ-FLX4. Its layout inherits a lot of the professional-level controls into a simpler and familiar layout: Two jog wheels on either side along with the PLAY/PAUSE and CUE buttons, TEMPO faders, BEAT SYNC controls and dedicated IN, OUT and 4 BEAT/EXIT loop controls. Eight back-lit rubber Performance Pads on each deck provide direct access to Hot Cue, Pad FX, Beat Jump and Sampler functions.
At the centre is a familiar 2-channel mixer section with TRIM controls, HI, MID and LOW EQ knobs, channel faders and a crossfader. The controls are logically arranged so all the essential mixing functions are within reach, helping you concentrate on developing your timing, track selection and mixing technique.
Made for rekordbox, Serato, djay and Traktor Play
The DDJ-FLX4 now supports* rekordbox, djay, Serato and Traktor Play, the industry’s premier DJ music library management software on PC and Mac. Easily import your music files from your computer or USB drive for BPM analysis and other song metadata, or stream tracks directly from existing cloud services like Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, SoundCloud Go+, TIDAL and Spotify. It’s a convenient way to begin if you don’t already have any tracks on your drive yet.

Mix from a Computer, Phone or Tablet
The FLX4 can connect to a wider range of devices via a USB-C connection, Connect with a compatible PC or Mac, or iPhone, iPad and Android devices by USB-C. It also has Bluetooth, which makes it easier to connect wirelessly with compatible devices while being bus-powered via a USB-C charging cable. For the most responsive low-latency mixing and monitoring, we recommend a wired connection.
Performance Controls for Creative Sets
Additionally, each deck includes eight backlit performance pads for hands-on control of features such as Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump and the Sampler. Now, you don’t need to touch your computer to trigger cue points, rearrange sections of a track or add one-shot sounds! The DDJ-FLX4 also has a built-in sound card, so all you need to do is connect it to a supported computer by USB and start setting up your software.
Microphone Support
Moreover, a 1/4-inch microphone input also lets you emcee during your set. The DDJ-FLX4 can mix the microphone signal with your music and send the combined audio over USB, which is useful for mobile DJs and live-streamers too! *NOTE: USB microphone-output function is not available while the controller is connected by Bluetooth.
What Else Do You Need?
The DDJ-FLX4 is a controller, not a standalone DJ system, so it still needs to be connected to a computer, phone or tablet with rekordbox or Serato DJ to operate, and does not have a built-in USB drive input. Does the DDJ-FLX4 work without a laptop?
Not exactly. You will still need to connect it to a computer, phone or tablet running compatible DJ software or an app to operate it, as it is not a standalone player.
Is rekordbox free with the DDJ-FLX4?
Yes, rekordbox is free to use with the DDJ-FLX4 via a hardware unlock. Some premium, cloud or streaming functions may require a paid plan or a separate streaming-service subscription.
Does the DDJ-FLX4 work with Serato DJ Pro?
Yes, the controller supports Serato DJ Lite and Serato DJ Pro. However, a Serato DJ Pro licence or subscription is not included.
Does the DDJ-FLX4 include speakers or headphones?
