Palmer MONICON XL

If you’re in the studio, you need the clearest-sounding audio signal. Thanks to the Palmer Monicon XL, you can do just that. Configure the sound yourself, route different sources to different monitors, and even regulate the monitoring level. Allowing you to fine-tune everything to your working style. What’s more, the Monicon XL also allows you to communicate with the musicians when you need to. Giving you complete control!

Switching between sources and monitors is one of the most common tasks in any studio. The Monicon XL is an ergonomic console with two clearly structured control levels to make it the perfect solution. So simply select your audio sources and loudspeakers easily and at the touch of a button.

The Monicon XL also features 3 analog stereo inputs; one S/PDIF input; and outputs for 3 pairs of monitors. Each with its own volume controller for level calibration. Furthermore, a mono summed full-range output is available for connecting a mono monitor or a subwoofer. While its correlation meter displays the phase difference between a stereo signals left and right channels. Facilitating the quick and simple discovery of mono-compatibility errors in mixes. Its even customisable to your own workflow.

Finally, the fully analog audio circuit of the Monicon XL means you’ll have no latency or signal distortion. While additional features make the Monicon XL far more than just a monitor controller. These include 2 headphone outputs with volume controllers and main cue selector switches; a cue master controller; and an on/off talkback microphone with volume control. Not to mention a mute button and dim button, instantly reducing the monitor level by a pre-set amount.
