Novation FLkey 37 MIDI Keyboard
Novation FLkey 37 puts real-time FL Studio control under your hands, so ideas can move from first sketch to finished pattern with less interruption. Its 37 synth-action keys, 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads, eight knobs, and dedicated buttons bring essential music-making tools into one focused controller.
Keep melodies moving
Firstly, the 37 synth-action keys give you a responsive way to play melodies, progressions, and patterns. Meanwhile, Scale Mode offers 30 built-in scales to choose from. Chord Map, Fixed Chord, and User Chord modes add practical options for building musical ideas. Also, the arpeggiator includes a step editor for shaping rhythmic movement.
Build beats from the pads
The 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads are arranged in two rows and can handle step sequencing in the Channel Rack, finger drumming with FPC, Slicex, or Fruity Slicer, and expressive melodies or chords. Colour coding shows which instrument you are controlling, while the dedicated pad page buttons make pad navigation straightforward.
Stay close to your session
Eight endless encoders control FL Studio’s mixer, Channel Rack, and plugins, with two mixer bank buttons and two encoder page buttons for navigating mapped controls. Dedicated Play/Stop and Record buttons keep transport actions close, while Score Log/Quantise, Pattern/Song, and Undo/Redo buttons reduce trips back to the computer.
Connect your wider setup
FLkey 37 uses custom DAW scripts with FL Studio 21.0.3 or later and can control other DAWs through HUI. A 5-pin MIDI out socket connects synths and other MIDI hardware, while the sustain pedal 1/4” jack socket adds a dedicated connection for a sustain pedal. The 128 x 64 monochrome OLED display provides visual feedback.
