MXL Revelation II
The MXL Revelation II gives you a highly professional, studio condenser microphone. Delivering the warmth and intimacy you’d expect from a classic tube microphone. As well as a lush mid-range that will provide a unique colour and sound to your microphone locker. Sporting a dual gold-sputtered, 6-micron diaphragm and hand-selected EF86 pentode tube that gives your Revelation II an iconic sound.
What’s more, the Revelation II’s variable selection knob allows you to easily switch between cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 polar patterns. So whether you’re recording vocals, instruments, percussion, or using it as a room mic; the Revelation II will bring a classic sound to any application!
Featuring a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response thanks to its 6-micron diaphragm; Revelation II also offers a -10dB pad and a selectable high-pass filter for eliminating rumble. While the power supply gives you the option to flip the polarity if you need to do so.
Finally, the mic finishes with a 7-pin connector and comes complete with a 15′ 7-pin Mogami cable for maximum audio fidelity. You’ll also get a 15′ XLR cable to output the Revelation II into your preamp. As well as a shock mount, aluminum flight case, cleaning cloth, and the power supply.
