The Modal Skulpt is a compact and powerful, polyphonic, virtual analog synthesizer. Allowing you to create powerful leads, deep evolving basslines, and cinematic pads; all in the form of a pocket-sized synth. With 4-voices each fitted with 8 oscillators per voice, and 2 selectable waveforms. Allowing users to achieve both FM and PWM, as well as apply ring modulation.
Additionally, the Skulpt features both duophonic and polyphonic modes; as well as unison/spread for detuning its 32 oscillators and achieving a massive sound. Plus you’ll also enjoy the 16-note keypad for note and control input, as well as a step sequencer and arpeggiator.
Boasting 128 patch presets, the sound selection on the Skulpt is easier than ever. Allowing you to spend more time creating, rather than tirelessly sifting through sounds. Above all, the Skulpt comes in an incredibly compact and portable package. Battery-powered for up to 12 hours, you can take the Skulpt with you anywhere. So there’s nothing stopping you from pulling it out whenever inspiration strikes.
Skulpt gives you the power to unleash your creativity with its pulse-width modulation, FM and ring modulation. Not to mention the morphable 2-pole resonant VCF, three separate envelope generators, two LFOs, eight modulation slots with eight sources and thirty-seven destinations. Furthermore, the fully MIDI-syncable delay section and waveshaping distortion effect work to further shape your sound.
Finally, program and fine-tune your Modal Skulpt easily with the MODALapp editor. Compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android; the Skulpt editor gives you complete visual control of all the parameters and patch management. Simply connect the Skulpt to any device via USB and you’re good to go.
